11月30日から3日間、小名浜のオルタナティブスペースUDOK.で開かれた「雨読の毒」。“空間実験室” と銘打たれたイベントには、市内外からパフォーマーが自由参加し、既存のバーやクラブでは実現できない、インデペンデントな場所だからこその自由な表現をぶつけあった。
トータルプロデューサーとして空間設計を担当した楢葉町出身の夜兎をはじめ、ライブパフォーマーに大熊町出身のAOPONkonbain、富岡町夜ノ森出身のDJ ATOMICが参加するなど、双葉郡出身のクリエイターが参加するのもこのイベントの特徴だ。原発事故で表現の場所を失った彼らの表現には、福島の今が凝縮されている。
ライブドローイングには、UDOK.のイベントでは常連のuntangle、高木市之助が参加。アンダーグラウンドな音をバックに、それぞれの線をキャンパスに引いていく。untangleは立体的に作品を残す「三次元ドローイング」も連日にわたって制作し、空間に縦横無尽に線を引き、観客を圧倒した。
一般的に、こうしたクラブイベントは「娯楽」としての側面もあるが、「雨読の毒」が若いクリエイターにとっての表現の場となっていることに注目したい。今回初参加となったAOPONは大熊町出身で、現在はいわき市好間に在住する。クラブプレイの経験は多くはないが、ミニマルテクノをメインに、自分が作曲した楽曲をいくつもストックし、ウェブで音源を提供してきた。
いわば在宅クリエイターだったAOPONだが、ネットの場からリアルの表現の場へ移り、自由に参加できる場を得たことで、大きなきっかけをつかんだようだ。ライブでは、まさに水を得た魚のようにハイレベルなパフォーマンスを繰り出し周囲を驚かせた。こうした若手のクリエイターに表現の場を提供することこそ、「毒」の最大の効果とも言える。
既存の店舗ではないだけに、「採算度外視」で表現の壁に挑むことができるのもいい。思い切った過激な実験を可能にし、個々の制作における重要なスパイスを加えることができる。失敗を気にすることなく繰り出せるのは、即興的なイベントならではものだろう。
そしてなにより刺激的なのである。クラブから音楽が次々と奪われていくなかで、ゲリラ的に、即興レイブ的にイベントが行われることは、それ自体が過激なアプローチだといわざるを得ない。そしてそれが東北のさびれた港町で行われているということがこのイベントの面白さだ。地方からの反攻。今後の「毒」の効き目に注目だ。

First of all I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I've had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!
